In #ManipurViolence if you are a Meitei, you can roam freely even if you loot arms, attack Indian army, rape women, kill innocent and burn houses. If you are a Kuki-Zo, you may be an innocent 8 year old girl but the long arm of a one-eyed law will come to nab you.

Why is there such partiality in delivering justice?

Previously, the CBI was hindered and stopped by the Radical Meitei women's group (Meira Paibis) from investigating the violence against the Zomi-Kuki-Hmar tribes. However, today, there is no obstruction, and both the Central and state governments are taking prompt action.

We demand justice for the deaths, rapes, and violence suffered by the Zomi-Kuki-Hmar tribes at the hands of the Radical Meitei Mobs/Militants.

When almost 709 Meitei Radicals (and growing ) creeping into my profile have found the video of a Kuki-Zo Man crying for his beloved wife (Meitei) and 7 year child who were burnt alive in an ambulance. Then yea, we have lost all humanity in every aspect, and definitely reaching or even reached a point of no return. Radicals laughing at people's suffering. It is what it is.

Forget living together, will anyone actually be safe again with this amount of hatred that has been ALLOWED to manifest for 5 months and entering the 6th month is the pertinent question. Was this even considered a priority for investigation because no one has heard of anything being done for them.

The most reputed University in Manipur, the “Manipur University” was stormed on the night of May 3,2023 and the Meitei goons were on full swing hunting the Kuki_Zo students in an attempt to lynch them.
The students had to hide in the jungle throughout the night.

The radical meiteis even burnt down certificates and looted and vandalised their room. Where were all the students when their own classmates and friends were being hunted down? Why didn’t they protest against the injustice then? Why now?

In such a reputed university with modern infrastructure, is it really hard to recognise and nap the perpetrators? What is taking so long for the state govt to take action against these goons?

When arrests are made on grounds of suspicion against the Kuki-Zo community, why are the culprits of the barbaric beheading, mutilation, rape, and immolation against the Kuki-Zo people not apprehended in the same manner. This only substantiates the fact that the Manipur state government is altogether manipulating law and order and constitutional values and principles in the state to fit into its nefarious agenda of wiping out the Kuki-Zo community from the Manipur state. @PTI_News

Since May 3,2023, the #Kuki_Zo people have been chased,hunted and butchered like animals but as of today no justice has been delivered.

Why is there partial justice among citizens of the same state too?? Does being a minority not give you the right to seek and be granted justice??

SELECTIVE JUSTICE IS DETRIMENTAL FOR THE INTEGRITY OF A NATION

Two daughters of the Kuki_Zo tribals were sexu@lly abused & brutally murdered on 5th May, 2023. First of all, it was a hate crime that occurred solely because the young women were from the minority Kuki_Zo community. Both girls were working in Gamma Automatic Car Wash, Imphal, which is an arms-length distance from the Chief Minister's bungalow and owned by Samorjit Oinam & Jacob.

149 days have passed. We haven't got justice for these two young women. Nor we get any justice for the rest of our victims.

Is the government & its legal system incapable of delivering justice? OR Are the victims in the #Manipurconflict experiencing SELECTIVE JUSTICE, wherein the Kuki_Zo are considered as less important citizens?

AFSPA DECLARED OVER PEACEFUL HILL DISTRICTS; DISTURBED VALLEY AREAS EXCLUDED

Despite the lawlessness and violence prevailing in the Valley areas of Manipur, and despite the known presence of Meitei terrorists outfits or Valley-based Insurgent Groups (VBIGs) in the Valley districts, the Manipur government has issued an order declaring the entire state of Manipur except the Valley areas as ‘Disturbed Areas’ and subsequently operationalising the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 in these notified areas.

This comes as a shock to everyone as it means the AFSPA is continued in the Hill Areas which has seen months of relative peace and normalcy, and not extended to the really ‘disturbed’ Valley areas which have seen months of unending rioting and terrorist activities. Many Zo tribal civilians have been butchered on the streets by Meitei mobs since May 3 in the Imphal Valley, and these mobs have also resorted to destroying and torching private and public properties in the region. A large number of police stations were reported to be ‘looted’ of their sophisticated weaponry by Meitei civil militia like the Arambai Tenggol to wage a genocidal war against the Zo ethnic tribes.

The Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 is a law that gives special powers to security personnel to maintain law and order in areas that are declared ‘disturbed’ by the Union of State governments. The security forces are empowered to make arrests without warrant and to shoot on sight and kill any suspected militants. The Biren Singh government has withdrawn the AFSPA in the Valley areas despite these areas continuing to be hotspots for terrorist activities.

Meitei armed groups classified as ‘terrorist organisations’ under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 have also been particularly active in the Valley areas since the ethnic violence started. In fact, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has revealed a larger ‘transnational conspiracy’ behind the Manipur violence, essentially stating that China-backed Meitei terrorist outfits are the main perpetrators of the current ethnic violence against the Zo ethnic tribes. It is known that these terrorist outfits have infiltrated in large numbers into Manipur soil from Myanmar, as confirmed by intelligence agencies, and that they are leading the attack against Zo tribal villages.
In light of these ground realities, the declaring of the Hill Areas as ‘disturbed’ with the exemption of the Valley areas only serve to highlight how Meitei-centric, majoritarian and communal the State government truly is. This order alone is an example of how persecuted and abused the minority communities are in Manipur, and how lawless and unconstitutional the State can be.

Our demand for separate administration stands strong and resolute. It is the only viable solution to protect our community, preserve our culture, and ensure lasting peace in Manipur. It's time for truth, justice, and a future free from falsehood.
