Don't ignore this case. If this man is convicted, CPS will have invented a new blasphemy law through use of Section 4A of the Public Order Act 1986 (alone or in combination with the Crime and Disorder Act 1998) despite 2006 & 2008 Acts of Parliament intended to prevent this.
It’s a funny coincidence how our tech overlords hot takes always mysteriously line up with whatever will grant them maximum profits and minimum accountability. Every time!
It’s Easter with a twist in this hilarious mix-up of eggs with legs and hot cross BUMS from Candy Bee 🐣🥚😂
With hilarious illustrations throughout from Lee Cosgrove @gorillustrator, this silly seasonal story is bound to have kids hopping with delight! 🐰
One thing that really irks me about this whole generative AI thing is people simultaneously celebrating the "democratisation of art" and also crowing that "it's over" for artists. As if artists were some kind of privileged class gatekeeping people from making art for themselves.
Sobering figures.
Blasphemy laws are in force in 91 countries, impacting 57% of the world's population. In 12 nations, the punishment is death. Prison sentences are possible in 60 countries, while other penalties are imposed in 19.

Contrary view: Religious offence is never a justification for violence & countries that criminalise blasphemy tend to see more religious violence than others because they legitimise the premise of it
Human lives are worth infinitely more than ‘sacred’ texts

This is these guys in a nutshell. It's a shot-for-shot remake of the original trailer... except it's not even a good copy. It's not just that there is not a single original idea in there, they aren't even aware that they have taken out all the substance. (A li'l thread.)
