Note: 库街区 Kujiequ (Kuro BBS) is Kuro Games' own player community app, similar to miHoYo's 米游社 Miyoushe (miHoYo BBS) and HoYoLAB apps.

【Kujiequ Apology Statement】
To all Commandants [Punishing: Gray Raven players] and Rovers [Wuthering Waves players]:
After the official launch of Kujiequ yesterday (March 21), we received a great deal of feedback from players regarding Kujiequ's related agreements.
Due to inadequate oversight during the preparation for the app's launch, certain issues appeared in the relevant agreements on Kujiequ, including the "plagiarism of materials belonging to other game companies" and "user agreement clauses that do not meet the needs of Kuro Games' fan creators."
These issues are far removed from our original intention of creating a community for players of Kuro Games' titles, and they have also hurt the feelings of the players, fellow game companies, and our own colleagues who have continued to care about and support us.
Here, we sincerely apologize to all affected players, fellow game companies, and colleagues: due to mistakes in our work, we have given everyone an extremely unpleasant experience. We are deeply sorry.
Regarding the issues that appeared in the relevant agreements of Kujiequ, the project team has contacted miHoYo, explained the situation, and apologized. At the same time, we are urgently addressing the relevant agreement clauses that were not adequately considered, and we will update the agreement as soon as possible.
In the new agreement, we will also make every effort to maximize the protection of creators' rights and interests.
We also ask players and fellow game companies to supervise us. If you discover any other inappropriate content, whether within or outside the community, please inform us immediately. We will do our utmost to provide all players with a satisfactory response.
Regarding this incident, we have conducted a thorough internal review and reflection, and have taken serious disciplinary action against the staff members responsible for drafting the relevant agreements.
In our future work, we will strictly inspect every detail, establish relevant work standards, and prevent similar incidents from happening again.
Kuro Games has always maintained a zero-tolerance attitude toward plagiarism. We will do everything in our power to protect the rights and interests of every content creator, and we sincerely ask all players to continue supervising and pointing out problems in our future work.
As a community that has only recently launched, we are well aware that there are still many areas where we fall short, and that many of our tools and features are not yet fully developed.
Going forward, we will continue listening to players' suggestions and opinions, learn from the experience and lessons of this incident, and continuously adjust, iterate, and optimize our features.
We will continue working hard to create a better community atmosphere and provide more convenient community services.
We also hope that everyone can give us an opportunity to correct our mistakes.
Finally, we thank all players for your continued support and attention toward Kuro Games. Once again, we apologize to all affected players, fellow game companies, and colleagues for this incident. We will continue to accept everyone's supervision and work toward creating a better community environment and better content for all Kuro Games players.

It’s funny watching people work overtime to call this a “conspiracy theory” when the evidence is sitting right in public.
We don’t even need to touch Twitter. The easiest example right now is IGN China and Gamescom 2026.
IGN China is operated by Tencent.
That isn’t speculation. IGN China’s own disclosure says:
“IGN China is operated by Tencent Group.”
Tencent took over operation of IGN China in 2020.

Now look at what IGN China actually covered during Gamescom.
Nodusfall, HoYoverse’s new game, wasn’t some tiny side announcement.
It was literally the opening world premiere of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026.
Official Gamescom page:
https://t.co/sBnt7xKYci
HoYoverse also showed Petit Planet during ONL.
So what was IGN China doing during that same period?
Uploading Gamescom trailers. A LOT of them.
Ananta
Control Resonant
Blood of Dawnwalker
Acornia
Gravhounds
Cosmo Tales
Worms
X-Squad
and more.
Including games vastly smaller than HoYoverse.
Yet somehow Nodusfall was missing from IGN China’s Gamescom upload run.
Petit Planet was missing too.
Meanwhile unrelated Bilibili accounts were uploading the Nodusfall trailer just fine.
You can literally browse the Gamescom results yourself:
https://t.co/BkxCdCVMLy
And before someone says “maybe IGN just didn’t care about it”:
Global IGN covered Nodusfall.
IGN’s Gamescom roundup specifically included HoYoverse’s new game, and IGN also published/distributed the Petit Planet Gamescom trailer.
So this isn’t even consistent across IGN.
A Tencent-operated outlet was mass-covering Gamescom while conspicuously excluding major HoYoverse announcements.
And calling the it a “conspiracy theory” doesn’t make the pattern disappear.
Especially when Tencent also has a controlling 51.4% stake in Kuro Games, the developer of Wuthering Waves.
Also it is even funnier because these people are also trying to say the same thing about Hoyo:
