🚨 Major Western Sahara development:
The U.S.-drafted UNSC resolution has reportedly reached the advanced “blue” stage.
If adopted:
🇲🇦 Morocco’s autonomy proposal becomes the sole basis for negotiations.
🇲🇦 Genuine autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty becomes the central political framework.
🇺🇳 The referendum framework is effectively abandoned, with “Referendum” removed from MINURSO’s name, becoming MINUSO.
🏕️ UNHCR gets 6 months to register Tindouf refugees, with unhindered access, freedom of movement and assessment of durable solutions.
👥 The UN envoy can consult Sahrawis beyond Polisario, including those in the territory, Tindouf camps and diaspora.
🕊️ Self-determination remains in the text, but within a process centered on negotiating autonomy.
🪖 The UN mission is extended for 12 months, while its structure, personnel and future mandate are reviewed.
If this text passes, it would represent one of the biggest changes in the UN’s approach to Western Sahara in decades.

@AchrafHakimi I fully support you in this matter and I hope that you will continue to fight for your rights and freedom. People sue for money all the time. Stay calm 😌
@osasuo@TheIFAB@FIFAcom@CAF_Online This concern is particularly relevant given the existence of clear regulatory provisions namely Articles 82 and 84 which could have allowed for a same-day decision. Under these rules, a determination could have been made immediately and not wait this long,TAS will confirm it soon
@osasuo@TheIFAB@FIFAcom@CAF_Online Le360 is raising a legitimate question regarding the discrepancy in response times between governing bodies. Specifically, it highlights how FIFA and IFAB acted promptly in their respective case, while CAF took over two months to officially declare Morocco as the AFCON winner.
@osasuo@TheIFAB@FIFAcom@CAF_Online Your current interpretation appears to misrepresent the context and intent of the article. It is important to accurately reflect the source material rather than drawing conclusions that may be misleading or not fully supported by the information presented.
@osasuo@CAF_Online I am glad he’s not part of the board anymore. Otherwise it would be corrupted and biased. This is the most fair verdict I’ve ever heard from an African board. The TAS or CAS will only tell us if the verdict was perfect or not. I BELIEVE THE TAS WILL CONFIRM THE LAST BOARD DECISION
@osasuo@CAF_Online the match issue was clearly the fault of the Senegalese side, and that must be acknowledged honestly. If this kind of behavior is not condemned now, it sets a dangerous precedent. The future of African football depends on accountability, fairness, and respect for the rules.
@SamirBennis Once he introduced accusations of racism into the discussion,I chose to end the conversation, as it was clear he was attempting to redirect the narrative.he was trying to portray himself as a victim while using X to promote biased claims against Morocco under guise of journalism
president Faouzi Lekjaa:
Morocco remained willing to continue the match despite the disruption, not by choice, but by legal obligation. Refusing to resume play,he explained, could have resulted in sanctions against Morocco itself for withdrawal, in accordance with CAF regulations
Police Communiqué 🇸🇳 on the acts of vandalism around the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium 29 03 2026
Does the Police consider the arrested individuals as « hostages », as suggested for 🇸🇳 supporters detained in Morocco following the acts of vandalism in the final?
