I would like to congratulate the All India Football Federation for solving the two biggest problems in #IndianFootball.
I further urge all to stand up and clap for a full minute along with me to show our love for the visionaries behind this great achievement.
WAKE UP AIFF! Stop enjoying the FIFA World Cup 2026 free trip. @KhelNow
The FIFA World Cup 2030 qualifiers begin in March 2027, and India is currently just one position away from dropping into Round 1.
For those unaware, Round 1 is essentially a knockout playoff between the lowest-ranked teams in Asia. Lose that tie and your World Cup campaign is over before it has even properly started.
India are currently ranked 138 in the FIFA rankings. The closest AFC nations behind them are Turkmenistan (141), Yemen (145) and Singapore (148). All three are currently in the Round 1 bracket. If any of them overtake India in the rankings over the coming months, #IndianFootball could be heading towards a nightmare scenario.
Meanwhile, the rest of Asia is already preparing for the qualifiers. Malaysia have overhauled their coaching and technical setup. Bangladesh are actively expanding their pool of diaspora players. Other nations are planning months ahead. What exactly is India's plan?

Before our fans says that it's shame to lose this way. You can't compete against such technical team that has most players playing in Europe + NWSL compared to our players who are not professional and does job side by side
Before Gabba, there was Dhaka.
In 1998, India did the unthinkable. Chasing a world-record 315 against Pakistan in fading light.
9 runs needed.
6 balls left.
Saqlain Mushtaq bowling.
Hrishikesh Kanitkar became a household name with one swing of the bat. Who remembers watching this live?🔥🤯
SHOCKING: ‘Corrupt’ Assam Government Officer makes an Adivasi man lick his feet - all because he exposed the ‘Corrupt’ officer’s extramarital affair.
The officer tortured his wife and child so brutally that the child is enduring severe trauma.
In @himantabiswa’s Government - they say they do not tolerate violence against women & Adivasis, but they empower corrupt officers and stay SILENT when women & Adivasis are tortured, abused.
Government must act against the ‘corrupt’ Samiran Baruah.
A Chemical Banned in Italy.
Now India Is Being Asked to Live With It.
Most people have never heard of PFAS.
They are often called “𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀” because once they enter water, soil, or the human body, they almost never leave.
But that is not the news.
The news is that chemicals that many countries have 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 are now being produced in India.
Reports show that before this shift, a major PFAS manufacturing operation was 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆.
Italian authorities later found PFAS contaminating 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀, and 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀.
The scale of pollution was so severe that the 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁, and its executives were sent to prison.
PFAS production, however, did not disappear.
It simply 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱.
Shifted to a country where people are already struggling with industrial chemical discharge into rivers.
And who pays the price?
Not corporations.
Not urban elites.
It is 𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻.

As 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁 has pointed out, ecological damage is never neutral.
It is always an injustice to the poor, those with the least power, the least awareness, and the least ability to resist.
This is why, if people remain unawakened, such issues will never receive limelight.
And when there is no public pressure,
why would leaders feel any urgency to act?
Empty stadium, no cheer .. just by herself 🫡 Carrying our 🇮🇳’s pride in silence 🔥

#UPDATE#SHIMLA DOCTOR CASE!!
FINALLY DOCTOR statements -
★ A VIP patient demanded VIP treatment
★ He misbehaved with the doctor
★ Assaulted the doctor using an IV stand
★ Used abusive language and insulted the doctor’s parents
This did NOT begin with violence by the doctor.
It started with continuous verbal abuse by the patient, including explicit insults against the doctor’s mother and family.
➡️ Despite this, the doctor repeatedly tried to calm the patient and de-escalate the situation.
✅ With over 8 years of service and 5,000–7,000 patients treated, the doctor states that no patient has ever behaved like this before.
We demand strict action against that Rude patient via Doctor protection act @CMOFFICEHP@INCHimachal@BJP4Himachal

#JusticeForZubeenGarg: This picture of Zubeen’s wife Garima Garg at his grave breaks our hearts. She is sobbing, seeking justice - to know what exactly happened with her husband.
This case is unlike other cases. Hence, the process should be different too.
People of Assam are keen on knowing what’s in the Post-Mortem or Viscera report. By law, it is illegal to make it public. However, increasing politicalisation has raised serious concerns of manipulation.
The SIT should invite @GauravGogoiAsm, @AkhilGogoiAG & @lurinjtgogoi and show them what’s in the reports. Irrespective of the political opinion, this will give an unbiased view on the matter.
Assam Police through India’s Home Ministry has already seek Singapore’s assistance, submitting a letter at their Attorney General’s office. However, since Singapore Police are also conducting an investigation, they have not yet submitted any information.
This case is unlike any other cases. We will voice till justice is served.
But the damage was already done.
