@shagbark_hick The South has sadly abandoned building practices that provide relief from the environment from pre-air conditioning. My house was build in 1946 had a water circulation system between the house and an outdoor fountain and attic fan. Dog-trots and high ceilings have vanished too.

@CSandbatch There has been no economic boom other than post Katrina construction. The shipyard is gone, the oil companies have mostly departed. The tourism/festival support business doesn’t pay anywhere close to what the rent/mortgage price is asking.

@peterswindal @RejoiceCC Stay the course. I personally know Jesuits that publicly write essays in Jesuit publications directly calling out Martin and the Society of Jesus for accepting Martin’s heresy. I pray for more of them to stand up against Martin and save the order from self destruction.
