@gfienberg17@calax12 Oh, for sure. But if a former president had a bone to pick with the NFL, Saudi could throw enough money in to put some shit product together and then hype the fuck out of it. I get that there are major nuances between each sport though and golf is easier to jump start.
@gfienberg17@calax12 Haha I don’t see how you can argue that Aaron Rodgers going to XFL wouldn’t have an extraordinary impact on viewership. Especially since there is no other football to watch in the spring. I’d tune in once to see the spectacle, which is what most people did with LIV.
@gfienberg17@calax12 And people love watching Hall of Fame QBs throw passes. I think the point is that Saudi $ could do something similar to LIV with every sport we have if they wanted to. They’d all be second-tier leagues with just enough stars to get hard core fans of that sport to watch.
