Our Chairperson made it through to the African Women Green Academy, how do you even talk about change without whom you are causing change for?
Thanks @FemnetProg for always looking out for diverse groups to present their issues, learn and participate in decision making processes

I attended the Annual Africa Climate Finance Conference on 1st and 2nd.
Stay tuned, am coming back with what took place, the hiighlights !!!
📍 Day 2 | Africa Climate Finance Conference at Marriot Hotel.
As IDIWA, we have taken keen interest in today’s breakout session on "localizing climate finance and strengthening last-mile delivery."
The discussion is exploring how climate finance can reach districts, local communities, and vulnerable groups.
For IDIWA, this is critical to ensuring that climate finance is accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the realities of women and girls with disabilities, who are often among those most affected by climate change yet face barriers to accessing climate resources.

What is d-iap? 🤔
It's FAO's free drought impact assessment platform. It covers 16 crops across every major farming area. It gives you crop-specific yield loss probabilities BEFORE the season begins. No login. No cost. Just open https://t.co/jMvQcXhDzI. For the first time, a farmer, a planner, or a climate fund applicant can get the same data FAO scientists use. For free.

Happening today : AYWCEI is coming to East Africa.
As part of our continent-wide consultation process, we are convening a sub-regional youth dialogue on August 19, 2026 to gather youth priorities on water security, climate adaptation, sanitation, and governance from across East Africa.
The consultation will bring together young researchers, water advocates, climate activists, community organizers, and youth representatives to identify shared policy asks and lived experiences that will feed directly into the African Youth Water and Climate Position Paper.
Participation is open to African youth aged 18-35.
