@KatyNast @scottsflights thanks for this alert! Found 2 main cabin seats PDX-JFK with a amex platinum companion cert set to expire for $295 less a $150 ecredit = $145 total (thanks Scott's Cheap Flights for the alert!). Then applied 2 expiring GUCs to upgrade to F for the return leg.

@Delta I am having trouble using my companion certificates (Amex), the process hangs after i select a return flight and i never get to the payment screen. however (workaround), if I don't login first, then enter everything manually (certificate #, skymiles #, password) things work. bug?

@Delta when i try to book a companion certificate I get stuck on 'loading' after I select the return leg. tried multiple browsers, computers, etc. could it be a problem on your end? help!
