5/6 the same, Petracca not Wilmot the difference. Went back and forth on it a lot as paying that much for a fwd feels wrong, especially with his draw.
Maybe emotional but he’s so frustrating to watch as a non-owner, last few games I have felt like I’ve been getting lucky without him
@AaronAFLFantasy Depends on who else comes along but I'm looking at it the opposite way.
Anyone who comes in now is likely only safe for 2 weeks, so I may as well buy straight away and get both price rises.
$60k is $60k it's something to cash out down the line.
I'm going to combine two of yesterday's stories into one.
The "Tigers" (funded by an IPL owner, the Richmond part is flexible based on who buys) to replace the Melbourne Renegades as the 8th BBL franchise.

"We're onto the view India could be important for us."
Richmond wants to lead the AFL's strategy to engage Indian communities with the game. Tigers made it a clear priority in their plans by 2030 & beyond.

Windhager can definitely go, even if there's anything decent short term he's not good enough for the rest of the season.
Clugg we know can do well enough to stay in our teams to the end of the season. Will he? Off what we've seen so far in 2026 there's no chance
The trade ins this week are easier than last week. Only the final trade out is what I'm tossing up (Clugg vs Anderson).
- How much do I believe that he and BRL can figure things out?
- If I can get him to M9 by R17 is that a case to hold?
Leaves the end of each line as:
D5-6: Houston, Budarick.
M7-8: Steele, Clugg.
R2: DCam (?).
F5-6: Durham, Jagga.
Farrow, Retschko, Murdock and Robey all on the bench still to cash in and upgrade the weakest of those above.
Without too many hiccups I should have a strong 23 out of the byes.

When I post these I do genuinely believe the words I'm saying at the time.
But there is one trade in which no one is discussing (because everyone but me owns him already) that I should probably consider this week and that's Archie Roberts.
Didn't think of him until I was looking at what to do if Newman misses, which would naturally cause changes to the plans.

That’s the end of each line heading into this round.
McCluggage is such a tough one. My current stance is we’ve lost so much what’s a couple more weeks?
I feel like the worst outcome from here is we trade, he puts up two good scores then we’re too scared to jump back post bye despite majority of teams getting him
Houston -> Ash (R14)
Farrow -> Whitfield (R14)
Steele -> Nick Daicos (R15)
Budarick -> ?? (R16)
Rough plans for some of the moves. Cashing in Murdock and Robey over the next fortnight will free up so many funds.
@BurgerBoys08 I seem to be in the minority with this but I have no intention to get rid of Retschko. I think he’s got a good $50k left in him and has great JS.
There’s no much cash gen coming through so I want to make sure I have every last $ out of the good ones we do have
Houston
Despite the nice score I don't think I carry him through his bye. Howe steals the kick ins, he and Josh Daicos suffer.
McCluggage
First out this week
Steele
Quite possibly 2nd out this week
Jagga/Murdock/Robey
Obviously hold. Was planning to use Murdock as my cash grab this week but that won't be happening after the 96.
DCam
I think he might be a trade out in a month, he was beaten by English and Lobb. Until another ruck comes in to support he's a hold as he will score well enough.
Lindsay/Anderson
Fine to trade from now. Fine to hold another one.
Retschko/Farrow
Hold. Retschko still has another $50k in him, Farrow reaches his bye from here.
Round 12 #AFLFantasy
Score 1718
OR 28050 [Up 4166]
Squad Value $24.001m
Despite carrying 7 non-playing premiums last week I have my best round rank of the season as this slow climb continues. After the poor start with rookie scores (And Jagga being really good) I held Budarick and traded McKercher thinking it would be worth about 40 points. Ended up gaining 51 from it.
Baz and JDG were great ins as well. Had to pass on Banfield which has ended up alright so far.
Whilst team value is hardly moving anymore I should be able to afford what I need to from here. We still need to be smart and not reckless with who we trade in, can't be paying top $$ all the time.
With everyone returning I should have 27 before trades this week, I may end up holding Flanders for 1 week as a result and use him as a loop.
If you're struggling for bench health I have a downgrade option who looked amazing in Round 10 but I think has slipped under the radar.
Billy Wilson ($429k) has not just taken Docherty's #15 at Carlton, he had a couple of kick ins and should be (my opinion) ahead of Adam Saad in the best 23.
Whilst Newman still had the kick in priority, he was very high and wide in build up whilst Wilson was deeper and got involved in the switches.

Feels like time to call it a day on this account, so this will be my final post.
I started this piss-taking Celebration Police thing 4 years ago and it’s genuinely been great fun. Unexpectedly so.
Through this account, I’ve met and engaged with some brilliant people, built a 55k following, made a bit of money and, for the most part, enjoyed my time here.
But let’s be honest: the joke wore thin a long time ago. And i’m bored of this platform and the increasingly repetitive, shit banter that fills it.
And Arsenal have won the league, so who gives a fuck about weirdos telling you when you can or can’t be happy about the football team you invest so much of yourself in😂
Policing celebrations is about as lame as it gets. It really is😂👎🏻
So thank you for all the support over the years, each and every one of you, and for engaging with The Celebration Police. You’ve been brilliant❤️
So for one last time…
ALL UNITS TO THE EMIRATES!!! 🚨🚨🚨
