A record # of adult sea lampreys--2,363(!)--were captured and removed from a single trap in the Ocqueoc R. (northern MI) last week! Total catch from the Ocqueoc R. was 2,843 sea lampreys for the day, breaking the previous record of 1,414 by more than double!
