I think the media gives a ton of mixed messages about gender especially to those who identify as women. We are told to be innocent and reserved, but not prude. We are also bashed if we own our bodies and sexuality, but when men want us to show our bodies, we should. #CMN432

"Her Brilliant Career" was very eye opening to me. Women said in the video that it never crossed their minds as college students that they would be treated differently, and neither did I. As a future lawyer, this scares me, but also empowers me to resist this culture. #CMN432

I loved the gender inclusive schools video! It's a great example of kids not having preconceived gender stereotypes, making them comfortable expressing themselves however they want. If only adults were like this... I hope kids in the future are taught in this manner! #cmn432

I realized this week that most people incorporate gender into their speech when completely unnecessary. We could say the exact same statements without using sir, ma'am, you guys, ladies, etc. I am definitely going to actively eliminate these words from my vocabulary!! #cmn432
