Yesterday, I paid a consultation visit to the revered royal fathers of Delta North at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON, the Obi of Owa, as part of my ongoing stakeholder engagements across the district.

Our discussions focused on the continued peace, unity, and development of Delta North, as well as the collective responsibility we share in advancing the interests and wellbeing of our people.

I deeply value the wisdom, counsel, and leadership of our traditional rulers, whose role in preserving our culture, promoting harmony, and fostering development remains invaluable.

I am grateful to Their Royal Majesties for the warm reception and insightful engagement, and I remain committed to working with all stakeholders in pursuit of a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Delta North.

Yesterday, I appeared before the Tukur Jikamshi-led Screening Committee of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), as part of the process toward my aspiration to represent the good people of Delta North in the Senate.

This journey is not merely about seeking office. It is about continuing a lifelong commitment to service, strengthening the unity of our people, and offering experienced, accessible, and purposeful representation at the national level.

Over the past weeks, I have had the privilege of engaging with party leaders, stakeholders, and communities across the nine local government areas of Delta North. The overwhelming support, encouragement, endorsements, and goodwill received throughout these consultations have been deeply humbling and inspiring.

I sincerely appreciate the warm reception accorded me yesterday and the confidence reposed in me by our leaders and people across the district.

As we move forward, I remain firmly committed to advancing the collective interest of Delta North, promoting inclusion and unity, and ensuring that our voice remains strong, respected, and effectively represented.

Today, I had the honour of welcoming State and Local Government Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors from across the South-South to a two-day Zonal Workshop in Asaba.

Today, I was in Isieke-Ibusa with the Nwaoboshi family to pay my final respects to a distinguished Deltan and prominent son of the Anioma nation, the late Senator (Barr.) Peter Onyeluka Nwaoboshi, at his Funeral Mass held at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Ibusa.

As we mourn his painful passing, we take comfort in knowing that he etched his name on the sands of time. His legacy of courage, resilience, and resourcefulness will continue to inspire a new generation of politicians and public servants.

On behalf of my family, I pray that God grants his dear wife, Dr. Judith Nwaoboshi, his children, and the entire family the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Following the Ward Congress held a few days ago, we also successfully conducted our LGA Congress this morning in Ika North East LGA, Delta State.

As a party, we are encouraged by the unity, progress, and statesmanship being demonstrated across the state. The cooperation and commitment shown by our members reflect a shared determination to strengthen our structures and move forward together.
