KRA has released new guidelines on the tax amnesty.

In short, there is no applications or begging required.

You just pay the principal (actual tax) due.

Then KRA shall take the rubber, and erase the penalties, interest and fines.

• So what should you do?

- Audit your iTax ledger immediately.

- Identify the principal tax outstanding.

- Pay the principal tax.

- Leave the penalties, interest and fines untouched.
