Earlier today, our CEO @JReckford attended and spoke at the Inaugural High-Level Roundtable of Global Champions on Adequate and Affordable Housing, the first time in 80 years of the @UN General Assembly where housing was highlighted as a global urgency.

Chairperson of the @_AfricanUnion H.E. @AUC_MoussaFaki emphasizes the importance of African citizen participation in AU programs activities.

@AU_ECOSOCC involves various socio-economic groups, CSOs, and NGOs to prevent and resolve conflicts and support post-conflict reconstruction.

He highlights the need to consolidate #democracy, address challenges like instability, #climatechange, #youth and women's aspirations, and slow policy execution.

He says that despite resource constraints, we must continue striving for an integrated, prosperous, and peaceful #Africa.

ECOSOCC's 20th anniversary is a time to reflect on achievements and the path ahead.
