Even on regular weekday evenings, slow movement through Porur toll plaza causes queues stretching for about 2 km on the Chennai Bypass towards Maduravoyal.

NHAI has already introduced Multi-Lane Free Flow tolling at at least five toll plazas in states like Gujarat, Delhi, Rajasthan. It combines FASTag and automatic number plate recognition to collect tolls without vehicles stopping.

When can we expect this technology at Porur toll plaza in Chennai Bypass?

I request @NHAI_Official to prioritise this location, considering the severe traffic congestion commuters face here every day.

I was thinking of buying a Tata Punch, but my friend told me, "Tata cars are unreliable."

I asked him just one question

"If Tata cars are really that unreliable, then why are millions of people still buying them ?"

Open social media and you will find no shortage of complaints about Tata cars

Quality issues, after sales service, niggles, fit and finish.

Sometimes it feels like buying a Tata means inviting problems into your life.

But then look at the sales numbers.

Tata has managed to outsell Mahindra, Hyundai and Honda in several months.

So what explains this contradiction ?

Is the online narrative around Tata’s reliability more negative than the actual ownership experience ?

Or do buyers simply value safety, design, features, pricing and the overall package more ?

And there’s another question

Are unhappy customers simply more vocal online,

while millions of satisfied owners never post about their experience ?

That does not mean Tata’s complaints are false.

But perhaps there’s a significant gap between online perception and real world buying behaviour.

Now I am confused about buying a Tata myself.

Are Tata cars really as unreliable as the internet makes them seem

or have the complaints damaged Tata’s image more than they deserve ?
