@CheySauke One way I will incorporate digital content into my curriculum is by using lots of videos. As a future special education teacher, I think that incorporating engaging videos will help my students to be able to learn better than just reading in the textbook or lecture. #IM422

@FlorPenaloza2 As a student, one form of digital content I have used is eBooks. eBooks are great for being able to find what you are looking for quick and efficiently. On the other hand, if I am going to sit down and read a book, I would rather read on paper. #IM422

Why are we prioritizing math, science, and history, when basic life skills are just as important. I think there should be a life skills course required for graduation where you learn how to change a tire, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, etc. #IM422

@mfeuling21 I love this Mackenzie. From what I remember from elementary school, empathy and perspective is something that wasn't taught, and if it was taught, apparently they didn't teach it clear enough for me to remember. This is an amazing skill to teach students. #IM422

@CheySauke As a student, I wish I would've learned more about life skills. For example, changing a tire, taking out a loan, sewing, etc. I think there should be a required life skills class in order for students to graduate. #IM422

@FlorPenaloza2 I personally think that all of these skills are essential, and you can't really narrow it down to just one. Also, the type of skills special education students will be learning is very likely to be different for each student, they all have their own unique needs. #IM422

@FlorPenaloza2 Wow! I wish I had this tool today. When I was in elementary school the teacher gave up on trying to get me to hold the pencil correctly. I still hold my pencil incorrectly today. (It makes me self conscious sometimes.) This is the pencil grip they tried to get me to use. #IM422

@FlorPenaloza2 I haven't personally used reading trackers but the special education teacher I interviewed said she uses this tool. She said it works well for her students and it is one of the tools she uses the most. #IM422
