Hi women, can you post pictures or talk about your academic achievements? I need some motivation this month.
If you see this tweet, share it so women can see it.
The moment you wake up and realize your pillow is drenched with saliva, don’t wave it off too quickly.
I know drooling while asleep is a common thing that can happen due to minor reasons like your sleeping position.
But the thing is that, there are other serious causes of drooling in your sleep.
You can find out below
This is me during my Shell Recruitment Day in November 2011.
1hr after the whole day group interview, I got the phone call I can never forget, “Congratulations, they all loved you. When can you start?”
If you have an upcoming group interview where they put a bunch of you together in a room and give you a task to work on together, then sit up.
I will tell you my secrets.
I don’t need them anymore and it can help you land your dream job.
They are what I used during my SRD.
I have given the same playbook to many mentees who used them to land their dream jobs in various companies.
So, trust me, this works.
A 🧵
If you’re hunting for a remote job, you just need to figure out how Reddit works, and you’ll never be unemployed for a long time.
Here’s a list of subreddits you should bookmark right now:
Amaka’s cough started on a Tuesday. Small one. The kind you clear your throat and forget about.
By the third week, it was still there. Now it was waking her up at 2am, 3am, 4am. Everybody had a remedy. Hot water. Garlic. Honey.
She tried them all. Nothing worked.
I LEFT MY NEWBORN WITH MY MOM SO I COULD SLEEP ONE FULL DAY... THEN I WOKE UP TO 63 MESSAGES CALLING ME A MONSTER. 💔💔💔😭
That morning, I knew only one thing:
If I didn't rest, something inside me was going to break.
Not metaphorically.
For real.
I pulled up to my mom's house at 7 a.m. I don't even remember the whole drive. I only remember pulling over twice because my hands were shaking on the wheel and my vision kept blurring.
I wasn't crying.
I was empty.
When my mom opened the door, she looked at him first.
"Is he okay?"
"He is,
"I said. "I'm not."
"I need sleep. Not a nap. Real sleep. If I don't... I'm going to collapse."
She stared at me like she was deciding whether I was exaggerating.
I visited a friend who had just given birth in the hospital. She had just woken up, so I joked that the baby must have kept her awake all night.
She smiled and said, “No, he slept all through the night.”
Her MIL advised her not to wake him, so he could “learn” to sleep at night.
I immediately asked her to put him to breast, but something was wrong. He wasn’t crying, sucking and barely moved. When I touched him, his body felt cold.
I raised an alarm, the nurses rushed in. His blood sugar was dangerously low.
This baby wasn’t calm, he had hypoglycemia and was shutting down. Urgent attention saved his life.
Newborns don’t always cry when they’re in danger. Sometimes, they become quiet.
Low blood sugar in newborns is life-threatening and often silent.
Watch out for these danger signs:
⚠️ Too sleepy or hard to wake for feeds
⚠️ Poor or no sucking
⚠️ Cold body, hands, or feet
⚠️ Weak or absent cry
⚠️ Little or no movement
❗This is NOT a “good” or “peaceful” baby.
❗Newborns must feed frequently, day and night.
❗Do NOT delay feeds to train a newborn.
If you notice these signs, go to the hospital immediately.
Early feeding and urgent treatment save lives.💝
HOW SHOULD YOU SEND YOUR COVER LETTER?
PDF or email body?
Here’s a life changing rule for you:
If the employer doesn’t specify → send it as a PDF attachment.
Use the email body for your short intro, not your full story. ( Check the attached image for guidelines)
Afterwards, attach:
• Your resume (PDF)
• Your Cover letter (PDF)
• Other required documents
Ensure you label them properly.
Eg; Your name_Resume_[Job Title]
Your name_Cover_[Job Title]
✅ Keep the email short. Your CV + cover letter should do the heavy lifting.
✅ Always attach files as PDFs unless told otherwise.
✅Customize the job title and company name every time (never mass-send).
I hope this helps.

IVF IN NIGERIA: I WILL EXPOSE ALL THE BAD PRACTICES
BEFORE YOU DO IVF IN NIGERIA, PLEASE READ THIS POST
READ, SHARE AND REPOST. Walk with me. A long read!
Dear Nigerians,
You know I am always here for you.
When Hope Is Monetised: A Quiet Reckoning with IVF Practice in Nigeria
I will speak now, carefully and firmly, and without raising my voice, because some truths do not need shouting. They only need honesty, and courage, and a willingness to look at oneself in the mirror and not look away.
IVF is hope with a needle, and science with a prayer stitched quietly into it. And so when hope is mishandled, when science is bent, when desperation is treated as a business model, something sacred is broken. Not loudly. But deeply.
Too many IVF centres in Nigeria are breaking that trust.
Yes, success rates can be high in a batch, and yes, miracles do occur. But statistics, like stories, must be told whole. To announce a 70% success rate without disclosing the average is to sell aspiration without context. Globally, we know the numbers hover around 39–45%, and patients deserve that truth, not a curated fantasy designed to make them sign consent forms with trembling hands.
And then there is competition. Oh, how ugly it becomes when it forgets dignity. To pull another centre down in order to appear taller is not excellence; it is insecurity dressed in a lab coat. Let your outcomes speak. Let your ethics speak louder.
Some women should not proceed with IVF at a given time. A thin endometrium is not an inconvenience to be ignored because the patient is hopeful and uninformed. It is a message. And good medicine listens before it acts.
There is also the quiet danger of underqualified hands, staff hired cheaply, trained poorly, and placed in rooms where lives, embryos, futures are handled. Cost-cutting that endangers patients is not innovation; it is negligence pretending to be efficiency.
And please, let us stop pretending we can guarantee twins or triplets. Doctors are not gods, no matter how advanced the laboratory. To promise multiples is to lie, softly perhaps, but still to lie. Worse still is the reckless transfer of too many embryos, gambling with women’s bodies in the name of higher odds. The world has moved toward single-embryo transfer for a reason. Multiple pregnancies are not trophies; they are high-risk realities.
Patients, already bruised by time and bills and monthly disappointment, deserve respect. Not eye-rolling. Not impatience. Not silence. Certainly not deception, like injecting hCG injection to manufacture a positive pregnancy test, or withholding a negative result because 'she isn’t ready to hear it.' Who decides readiness? Truth delayed is still harm delivered.
You are a serial killer if you inject hcg injections to your patients so it looks like it's positive pregnancy test.
And then there is the cruelty of omission: skipping essential medications to save money and calling it 'coasting,' proceeding to egg retrieval when stimulation has clearly failed, administering placebos as if patients will not one day ask questions. These are not grey areas. They are wrong.
Bad news must be broken gently, and honestly, and by people trained to hold grief without dropping it. Counselling is not an optional extra. It is part of care.
If a procedure is beyond your skill, refer. If a complication occurs, disclose. Duty of candor is not a Western idea; it is a human one.
And yes, IVF is expensive. Drugs are costly. But exploitation wears a particular smell, and patients can sense it even when invoices are wrapped in polite language.
Medications are not communal property. Embryos are not to be shared, traded, or 'managed' without explicit consent. These are not resources. They are possibilities. They are futures.
STOP GIVING PEOPLE'S EMBRYOS OUT WITHOUT CONSENT. YALL BE MOVING MAD!
Do your best, always. But remember the limits of medicine.
Playing God has never ended well.
IVF is already an emotional rollercoaster, and patients climb aboard with faith, and fear, and emptied savings accounts. What they deserve is transparency, integrity, and care that does not flinch when tested.
So this is a call, not for punishment, but for accountability. Not for silence, but for reform. Not for perfection, but for decency. Do better.
Because hope, when entrusted to you, should never leave your hands diminished.
Day 2
What is the difference between
NYSE and NASDAQ ?
NYSE (New York stock exchange)
Is the oldest and largest stock exchange in the world .
It was originally a physical trading floor (Humans + machines).
Let’s break it down .
A very long time ago before Computers became fast ,there was a huge building in the New York.
• Inside that building, real humans stood on the floor.
• They shouted , waved papers and used hand signals .
• Each person represented someone who either wanted to buy or sell shares.
So instead of clicking a button like today , it was more like.
“I want to buy Apple oo”
“I will sell Apple, come over here”
They agree….deal done.
As time passed,computers came in.
So today at NYSE
• Humans are still on the floor
(Helping big investors , fixing problem when trade goes messy.) while
• Machines(Computers)execute buying and selling orders in milliseconds .
It was built for older established companies like Coca-Cola, Jp Morgan,ExxonMobil, Walmart.
NASDAQ on the other hand, is a fully electronic exchange (No trading floor).
It was built for speed, Suitable for Tech companies like Apple, Microsoft , Nvidia , meta etc
NYSE is about stability and Legacy .
NASDAQ is about growth and innovation .
Both are heavily regulated.
Both are safe.
Neither is better than the other .
They just serve different type of companies and investors.

I saw a video last night that inspired me to read about human breast milk and the connection between a breastfeeding mother and the child. Follow me.
The composition of the breast milk is not fixed. It changes from time to time, depending on the baby's needs. When a baby latches on to the nipples to suckle, a tiny amount of the baby's saliva flows back into the mother's nipple ducts during feeding. Receptors in the breast interpret this "data," detecting signals about the baby's health, hydration, or needs. In response, the mother's body rapidly adjusts the milk's composition, tailoring it precisely to support her child. This real-time feedback loop highlights how wonderfully attuned the human body is, turning breastfeeding into a dynamic conversation rather than a one-way provision.
This adaptive process can trigger remarkable shifts inside the breast. If the baby's saliva indicates low hydration, the milk becomes more watery to quench thirst. When illness is detected (through pathogens or cues in the saliva), antibodies and immune factors spike, providing targeted protection. For a baby that's too tired, the fat content may increase to promote calmness and satisfaction. These changes can occur within hours, or even minutes, demonstrating the body's extraordinary efficiency.
Breast milk also follows a circadian pattern. "Night milk" enriched in melatonin and sleep-promoting compounds like tryptophan, helping babies settle during evening feeds. Daytime milk, by contrast, contains higher levels of alertness-boosting elements. What this means is that you can pump your breast milk at night and store it, after labeling it properly. If your baby is having a hard time sleeping in the afternoon, you can give them this "night milk" and they will sleep better.
Even the colors of expressed breast milk reveal its living, responsive nature. Everyday mature milk is typically white or creamy. A yellowish tint often signals immune-loaded protection. So, when your baby is ill, the milk will have a yellowish tint. Green colours may come from a mother's diet of leafy greens, while orange or deep yellow reflects carotenoids from foods like carrots. Pink traces can appear from harmless blood (such as from cracked nipples).
The human body is amazing.
The women's body is amazing.
Most importantly, BREAST is awesome!
DEAR MOTHERS, PLS, I WANT YOU TO TEACH ME HERE. HELP ANSWER THIS. GIVE YOUR TIPS❤️
THE STRESS OF BREASTFEEDING AFTER DELIVERY.
WE SOMETIMES FORGET THE DIFFICULTIES MOTHERS FACE.
LET ME TRY AND ANSWER.
My dear Ojugo,
Come, sit with me, not because the chair is soft or the air is calm, but because there is something sacred about two people who care about life speaking truthfully to each other. And motherhood, that tender storm, becomes gentler when shared.
You are tired, and your tiredness is valid. You are worried and your worry is the mark of a mother who loves deeply.
So let us talk, softly, with the honesty of people who know that nights can be long and bodies can be heavy and babies can be both joy and bewilderment wrapped in warm skin.
Can you lie down to breastfeed?
Yes, my darling, you can. And not just because your arms are aching, or because the night sometimes feels endless, but because NHS, NICE, and RCPCH guidelines agree that the side-lying breastfeeding position is safe when done well.
Women all over the world have fed like this, and have survived, and have thrived, and have whispered silent prayers over small foreheads while lying on their sides.
How to do it safely, the side-lying way
Let me guide you, as though your hand is in mine:
● Lie on your side, your head resting on a firm pillow, not sinking, not tilting.
● Place your baby beside you, also on their side, tummy meeting your tummy.
● Align your little one. head, neck, spine in a gentle straight line.
● Support their back or hips with your hand or a small rolled towel.
● Keep their nose and mouth free, no blankets creeping in like uninvited guests.
● Clear the bed of pillows, toys, and anything that might hide the baby’s breath.
Because safety is not just a rule,it is a love language. And yet… after the feeding, comes the forgetting
So many mothers forget this part, and you must not: Even when you breastfeed lying down, your baby still needs to be burped.
Because babies swallow air,
and air rises, and when a small human lies flat immediately, tiny risks whisper in:
• coughing,
• mild choking,
• a little milk wandering the wrong way,
• and, though rare aspiration.
So do not let your baby remain flat right after feeding, my dear. Lift them. Hold them. Or invite help.
How to keep your little one safe afterwards
You can:
• Roll your baby gently onto your chest to burp them.
• Let your partner be your midnight warrior, the one who lifts the baby while you float in and out of sleep.
Motherhood is not a solo performance; it is a choir. And you are allowed, yes, allowed to rest while others hum the night with you.
But if your eyes are closing faster than your thoughts… If exhaustion is pulling you into sleep without permission… Please avoid leaving the baby beside you unsupervised.
Fatigue is real, and safe-sleep guidance exists to honour both of you.
You are doing well, Ojugo You are thoughtful. You are careful. You are already the mother your child needs, the one who asks, who listens, who tries.
So breathe, my dear. Rest where you can. And walk this journey with the softness of knowing you are not alone. And when you are unsure, ask again.
I am here.
And I will walk with you, slowly, tenderly, through this beautiful, complicated, awe-filled thing called motherhood.
