@trentcondon@LockedOnIowa Easier said than done, but I think someone could put together a network of local smalltown IA stations and do a 2-3 hour daily show. Not just stations in cities but places like Harlan, Carroll, Chucktown, Washington, etc. Like Heller has in Wisconsin.
@franfraschilla@TimBrando@jasonbenetti@westwood1sports@sarahkustok 'Basketball poetry' is a great description. Benetti good on any game, but bball on radio might be his best. Listened to the SLU-UM. he was as descriptive as a hockey announcer while still quick-witted and up with pop culture. The best! (but I love Kevin's too (Harlan & Kugler)).
@rlipsey5@BenScottStevens That's a great pic Rob. Congratulations on all of Tamin's success but even more so, congratulations on the fine young man he is.
@travisclones@HeatherRadio They've always has the rainbow flag in the windows. Just saying.
As CW's dad would say "not that i'm gay..." I've always liked the bar.
@GoodmanHoops When will WVU fans figure out that the DeVries family really didn't like Morgantown? D-Rock was looking at multiple Midwest jobs, he couldn't get out of there quick enough.
@KASarver John Bishop at the end of the game "UConn fans heading streaming out if here like rats scattering from the ship." (or something close to that)
I'd love to have a recording of that. An all-timer.
@KASarver So true Sarv. Going back a little further, CU had NCAA/NIT/NCAA run with Barone and maybe averaged 4k per game. Simply amazing what had happened. And I love seeing all the blue around Omaha these days. You never used to see that back in the day either.
@TravisCreates I'm wondering if that area behind the new Marriott near CHI will be used like Power and Light. Can't remember what is called. It does have huge TV's and large courtyard area.
