@jerryschippa @DenverDOTI@altafieldnotes this is how the intersections along the Perry St nbhd bikeway should've been done (26th, 44th). And a bonus would be if this was also on top of a speed table! The painted median "refuge" is just waiting for a cyclist to be hit

@MWigggs@DenverDOTI A diverter that forces you to cross a high volume + speed road too, usually by asserting yourself into traffic because drivers don't care about yield to pedestrian signs. Huge missed opportunity for an easy win with a speed table right under the diverter.
@seanjurs@flyin_obrien @holz_bau It's so exciting that Seattle was able to make this happen. It's gonna make a huge difference in Denver (and prob other cities) where the city planners have explicitly said that they refuse to look abroad for examples and will only copy things from other U.S. cities.
@powpowkitty11@DenverDOTI refuses to do what the world already knows is right and has clearly documented: actual traffic calming measures. That they put out these surveys are a sign of either incompetency or maliciousness (allowing for bad design to be affirmed or watered down)
