@jakerandall I was really hoping you'd talk about whether to go for the bundle or non-bundle (for people who want Mario Kart), but I didn't see you mention it. Obviously it would be nice to save $30, but maybe the non-bundle is safer. Any advice?

Prediction: We're getting a Metroid Prime 4 trailer shadow drop, since it won't be present in the Switch 2 direct.

Sometimes rumblings like this get misinterpreted. Back in October, leakers expected something Switch 2 related, but it was just a Xenoblade X shadow reveal.

Yes, I've heard there is a Nintendo presentation this week -- I believe it is on/around Thursday & it'll be a Direct; but I'm not 100% certain on the format at present.

I think a lot of people are expecting MP4 to have a tie-in with the Switch 2, but I don't think that's as likely as people think. This would prevent fans from being disappointed when it isn't present next week, while also not detracting too much attention from Switch 2 stuff.

@MarioBrothBlog Strangely, the game actually considers Cap Kingdom to be daytime, as evidenced by the cutscene of the Odyssey traveling between kingdoms. The left image shows traveling to night Sand Kingdom (an example of a true night scenario), while the right shows traveling to Cap Kingdom.

@SmudeySR Whatever it is, it’s not easily reproducible. Apparently it might have happened to other people but it’s very rare

This was on my modded Switch, so it's not impossible that I had a practice mod installed that messed with something. However, I can't find any evidence that I had anything enabled when this occurred (the clip is from a while ago), so I would guess it's likely a genuine glitch
