Probably one of the more influential records I have produced. 20 years ago I got introduced to @MCRofficial by AR Craig Aaronson at Reprise. I had produced @LessThanJake "Hello Rockview" for Craig and he asked me to consider producing MCR. I met them in a small rehearsal hall in LA and knew immediately that this would be a great project. Craig was always great at recognizing superior talent... Rip Craig. We recorded this at Bay 7 in Valley Village. Mike Plotnikoff and l asked the band to use all their gear instead of our stuff (their stuff was VERY road worn!) .. we wanted the truest representation of their sound. They were easy to work with and worked really hard on the arrangements and writing. They really put in the hours and time to get that material right. I remember seeing the video to Helena and I was like....omg...this is gonna be huge! #mychemicalromance #mcr #threecheersforsweetrevenge
