How do we attract new umpires into panels if for local games expenses are less than £10 a game Vs £15 or no match fee at their club & missing out socialising at the club

@MemEnglandhokey Alot of clubs I know pay or at least offer match fees off if you are a player, whether or not umpires actually take the money is a different issue as most I know do club stuff to give back . 1of2

@TabbStephen @fhumpires We need to start at the bottom with the parents of those joining at U7s or U8s and then with juniors doing small bits in their training sessions etc. Love to hear ideas from others on this as we tried a development day in September and it helped but always more we can do.
