Shops in Kinnawattaka have reportedly been forced to close due to the foul smell from garbage left along roadsides following Saturday’s national cleaning exercise.

Residents and traders say the uncollected waste is affecting businesses and making it difficult for pedestrians and motorists to navigate the area.

The situation has also been reported in Kavule, Bweyogerere, and other parts of Kira Division, raising concerns over sanitation and possible health risks.
