This is unusual:
Exactly 1 week ago, someone bought 3,000 put contracts on $SMCI with a $29.00 strike price and an expiration date for this Friday.
Today, EY announces that they are no longer willing to audit $SMCI and the stock crashes 35% in minutes.
These puts were bought for $0.05 and are now trading at $1.55.
That's a +3,000% gain in 1 week.
Did someone know?
A Super Signal on the Monthly Volume Oscillator comes when #Bitcoin volume gets extremely low in a bull market.
Here's the last times we've seen this:
- December 2012 before the +10,610% rise
- October 2016 before the 3,461% rise
- September 2023 before the +200% rise
The 2019 - 2022 cycle saw no super signal.
This would be the first cycle to see two of them.
We can weed out bearish low volume by checking if there was extremely high volume beforehand, which isn't the case here.
Extremely low volume in a bull market is extremely bullish!
BTC Update:
This is my projection for the upcoming week.
I will initiate a short trade if a double top and rejection occur.
I will provide updates if I take a short trade.

⚡️ LATEST: Ethereum devs set to add dynamic blob fees to upcoming Pectra fork to improve L2 scaling
EIP-7742 will create a mechanism for the #Ethereum consensus layer to “dynamically” set the blob gas target and max values, Galaxy Digital’s vice president of research, Christine Kim, posted to X on Oct. 17.
Blobs are large, but temporary, chunks of data embedded in Ethereum transactions that aim to make Ethereum layer 2 transactions cheaper.
Kim said EIP-7742 should increase the currently fixed blob count — which Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stressed late last month was nearing full-capacity and could soon stall scalability.
“With this EIP, It's likely a blob count increase will also be included in pectra, and unlikely other changes to boost scalability like a gas limit or slot time change will be included in the upgrade,” Kim explained.
Long-term holders are seeing a "sharp decrease" in their BTC exposure. The long-term holders realized the cap dropped from $19B to $12B. Looks like they're cashing in on profits!
