@cecililytweets It’s malamar plus one of their four support mons. The zam is just to bait you into bringing sucker punchers (kingambit notably) that malamar kills with superpower.
And that doesn’t include the similar amount of labor that went into GTA 5 content (code, models, audio, vfx, etc.) that Rockstar will either directly import or build off of making GTA 6.
Here’s some fun math:
GTA 6 has had an estimated 6,000 people working on it over a 10-year span. So let’s go ahead and make a massively conservative estimate here and just assume that 5,000 people have spent ONE YEAR working on GTA 6 full time.
Day 1 of building GTA 6. Still feels fake typing that out.
Upgraded to Claude Max 20x just for this. Spent a couple hours getting the whole project structured and pushed to the repo. Sandbox is up and running.
No studio, no publisher. Just whoever shows up. We picked Godot on purpose: it's community-owned, so nobody can pull an EPIC on us later and rewrite the deal once we're invested.
The goal: beat the real GTA 6 to launch. Ambitious, probably stupid, doing it anyway.
If you can model, code, build levels, or write music and lore, come join.
Looking for a couple contributors to cook this.
Time to cook. Reply if you're in.
That’s 5,000 people x 5 days/week x 40 hours/day x 50 weeks/year (accounting for holidays/time off).
That is 50,000,000 hours of labor. Again, massively conservatively estimated.
@hockeytings77 @DanMaye43063391 @JeffMarek It also doesn’t work since the net can (and often does) move when a potential goal occurs. Even a slight movement could cause a laser to be off by a significant amount.
