The common denominator in all three Western Cape municipalities that will not receive their July National Treasury grants is that they were governed by a coalition involving the ANC and PA.
Overflowing bins and illegal dumping sites shouldn't be the playground for our children. Basic service delivery is a fundamental right, not a luxury reserved for a few. The ACDP always puts your dignity first. You deserve a clean, safe neighbourhood.

Local businesses are shutting down, and our youth lack job opportunities because municipalities can't get the basics right. We need our local businesses to thrive, not just survive. You deserve a local government that creates opportunities, not obstacles.

The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) reiterates its position that South Africa is a nation governed by the Constitution and the rule of law. As such, all persons within our borders, whether citizens, legal migrants, asylum seekers, refugees, or undocumented foreign nationals, are subject to the laws of the Republic.
The ACDP recognises and values the significant contribution made by many legal migrants across various sectors of South African society. Thousands of law-abiding foreign nationals contribute meaningfully to our economy, healthcare system, education sector, entrepreneurship, and community development. Their contribution to nation-building should be acknowledged and respected.
We therefore call for the consistent and fair enforcement of South Africa’s immigration legislation. Where individuals are found to be in the country unlawfully, due process must be followed in accordance with the Constitution, the Immigration Act, and applicable international obligations. Any decisions regarding detention, deportation, or regularisation must be undertaken by the relevant authorities and not by private individuals or groups.
In light of calls for action against migrants on 30 June, the ACDP unequivocally condemns any incitement to violence, vigilantism, intimidation, xenophobia, or the forced removal of persons from communities, workplaces, schools, or public facilities. Such actions are unlawful and undermine the very constitutional order that South Africans have worked hard to build.
The ACDP asserts that South Africa cannot afford an unmanaged or ineffective immigration system. The country continues to face severe pressures on scarce employment opportunities, healthcare services, education, housing, and other public resources. It is the competition for these scarce resources that is part of the cause of the current tension in the country. Government has a responsibility to secure the country’s borders, administer immigration laws effectively, and ensure that those entering and residing in South Africa do so lawfully. It is in this regard that government and border officials have failed South Africans.
The ACDP therefore calls on all stakeholders, including government, civil society, community leaders, and citizens, to uphold the rule of law, respect human dignity, reject violence, and support lawful measures that ensure an immigration system that is fair, orderly, and in the best interests of South Africa and all who lawfully reside within its borders.
Lastly, we appeal to churches and faith-based organisations across the country to dedicate time in their services this weekend to pray for peace, wisdom, protection for all communities, and guidance for our country’s leaders, law enforcement agencies, and all those entrusted with maintaining public safety.

The Guardian says a study shows Greenland is losing 30 million tons of ice per hour. Sounds terrifying until you add scale.
If, for argument's sake, we accept the questionable headline rate, that works out to roughly 263 gigatons lost per year. But Greenland holds 2.8 million gigatons, meaning total loss would take over 10,000 years.
And the study itself adds important context. Much of its newly counted loss comes from glacier retreat in fjords where ice was already below the sea, so it does not raise sea levels in the way the headline implies.
This is how climate fear works: Huge number. No denominator. No time scale. Just blind panic.
We were told that 1.5C of warming would result in 90% of coral reefs dying.
That projection came directly from the IPCC and was dutifully amplified by activist outlets like the Guardian.
But we have already reached 1.5C, according to official data sets, and a mass die-off has not occurred.
Coral reefs not only still exist, but they are thriving. The Great Barrier Reef has registered record coral cover in recent years, according to surveys by Australian Institute of Marine Science.
Here again we have a dire apocalyptic climate warning that failed to come anywhere near the reality.
🚨 BOMBSHELL EXPOSÉ: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. drops the ultimate truth bomb on the COVID era: "They had to destroy ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine… because if they had acknowledged that it was effective in anybody, the whole $200 billion vaccine enterprise would have collapsed."

The world is more than 1 degree warmer and CO₂ has reached 427 ppm - yet our planet is becoming a green paradise.
Global greening from higher CO₂ has delivered an unexpected windfall; 5.5 million km² of new greenery springing up across the world since 2,000 (NASA studies). This isn't just extra leaves. Green growth is equal to twice the area of the Amazon Rainforest and the Sahara Desert has lost 8% desert to new plant growth.
Across the Arctic, vegetation increased by 38% between 1985 and 2016. Between 2000 and 2017 satellites identified a 25% to 50% increase in vegetated lands turning green. Food production has been boosted by 35-40%.
This is the Earth’s way of self-correcting and 30% of these areas already have a natural cooling effect through water-vapor management. The planet isn't a passive victim, it's an active participant.
The UN climate ideology was about fear and control.
Every Government simultaneously, rapidly & stealthily erected millions of these 5G masts, in every corner of the World, right at the start of Covid.
If you still think they are here to provide you with better Internet - you simply aren’t paying attention.
Under no rational understanding can atmospheric CO2 be considered a pollutant.
If we reduce CO2 below 150 PPM in our atmosphere, nearly all plants will die and then all animals will die.
CO2 is a necessary part of the Earth's atmosphere.
It is NOT a pollutant. Many farmers who use greenhouses boost the CO2 levels inside their buildings because it makes their plants grow faster and larger.
COVID MASS MURDER BY DENIAL
IVERMECTIN taken weekly year-round in Africa through the CDTI program saved MILLIONS of African lives.
AFRICA (439 million people): ONLY 21,651 COVID deaths
Nigeria 2,906 • Ethiopia 6,542 • Kenya 5,312 • Uganda 3,227 • Zambia 3,664
AMERICA (331 million people): 754,822 COVID deaths
They banned safe, cheap Ivermectin here.
They locked patients in hospitals alone.
They pumped them full of toxic Remdesivir and destroyed their lungs on ventilators.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans died NEEDLESSLY while Africa was quietly protected by a dewormer.
Somebody needs to answer for this genocide-level crime.
The UK just “smashed” its May temperature record… but here’s the part the Met Office conveniently leaves out:
The PREVIOUS record was set in 1922.
That’s 104 years ago.
Long before SUVs, private jets, or modern CO₂ emissions. Heathrow Airport didn’t even exist yet. The area was literally farmland and small villages.
So if a 1922 heatwave could produce nearly identical temperatures in a world with ~130 ppm less CO₂, maybe, just maybe, natural variability plays a much bigger role than the panic merchants admit.
The IPCC has now explicitly acknowledged that their own forecast of a 5°C future driven by human emissions is no longer credible. It is the baseline trajectory of our world 'no longer'.
This dire forecast was quietly dropped because human energy systems changed faster than the old models thought possible. Over the last two decades, trillions of dollars in capital allocation, global treaties, national regulatory frameworks, and corporate ESG metrics have been anchored to a one-dimensional climate model.
That model says bluntly: we are headed down a species-ending climate black hole.
But as technical experts increasingly point out, the extreme catastrophe scenarios used to justify these sweeping economic changes are actually highly implausible. They create a massive belief gap and an erosion of authority. Why should anyone believe the sweeping mandates just because 'they say so?'
The picture remains muddy because the IPCC writes by massive consensus, which blurs their language. It is indecipherable to almost everyone. They won't use a blunt word like 'implausible' in their public summaries because they want to guard against unexpected Earth-system feedbacks—meaning us.
To maintain political and financial momentum, it is much easier for the IPCC to quietly reclassify its worst-case scenario as a low-likelihood 'stress test' in the fine print. Yet it's keeping the public-facing rhetoric largely unchanged. They stopped short of calling these futures completely impossible. Instead, they changed how those scenarios are meant to be used, moving them from 'business-as-usual' to extreme high-risk outliers.
The scientific community is moving to confirm this lack of clarity. Climate scientists designing the next generation of models for the upcoming IPCC Seventh Assessment Report have openly discussed dropping the old extreme scenarios because real-world trends have made them indefensible.
Instead, the technical focus is shifting to a new baseline that peaks much lower, around 3°C to 3.5°C, even under a hypothetical rollback of clean energy policies. The public narrative still lags behind this technical realisation—the institutional river keeps coasting on the momentum of the older, hotter models. In other words, they refuse to openly admit it.
When a policy goal transforms from a flexible, data-driven scientific inquiry into a rigid moral directive, it stops reacting to new evidence. If the 1.5°C or 2°C targets are treated as absolute baselines, then admitting they were calculated using flawed or overly pessimistic assumptions threatens the entire administrative structure built to police them.
It creates a strange paradox: the data says the extreme 5°C future is off the table because global energy dynamics changed. Yet the bureaucracy insists the crisis is more urgent than ever, and the mechanisms must remain in place.
Nothing is clearly stated anymore. When the language of science is adopted by a centralised bureaucracy, clarity is the first casualty. It was replaced by consensus-driven wording designed to protect the institution's mandate rather than reflect shifting real-world data.
The original assumptions diverged significantly from reality. Specifically, those old 5°C models wrongly assumed there would be a five-fold expansion of coal use through 2100, effectively replacing other forms of energy with coal. Real-world exponential growth in solar, wind and electric vehicle adoption, alongside tightening global policies, made that massive pivot back to coal an impossibility.
The bureaucracy simply exploits fear of natural feedbacks to justify keeping a human-emission model they already know is broken.

BREAKING: Cardinal Pizzaballa issues statement on Ben-Gvir video abusing flotilla activists.
The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, has issued a statement on videos showing Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir abusing detained, bound flotilla activists, describing the images as “disturbing, but not surprising.”
What troubles him, he says, is not the incident itself. It's what made it possible.
The Cardinal points to a "culture of contempt" entrenched in Israeli society — one that has gradually taken hold in how the other is perceived. It doesn't live only in shocking acts. It seeps into everyday language and reductive thinking, reducing the other to a stereotype. A vague enemy.
"A form of human and spiritual impoverishment," he calls it — before it is ever a political one.
