Dreams on a Pillow is a game that needs to exist but that needs our support. It’s a game made by Palestinians about Palestine.
Let’s help fund it: https://t.co/llm0Nk7Sn5
Took me long enough to write this- I’ve known Steven Donziger for almost a decade — a freedom fighter, a comrade, a friend, and honestly, my hero. He’s been through hell and back fighting for Indigenous and farming communities in the Amazon while one of the most powerful corporations on earth tried to destroy him. He never stopped. My friend Steven, up close and personal. Read it on Indigenous Insider- Substack.

‘Indonesia calls in military to help clear Papua forests at rapid pace.’
The conversion of vast tracts of pristine nature to monocultures by the Indonesian government is the world’s largest current nature destruction project.
Suicidal humanity

Related to music eg punk, Indy means self published OR published though indy labels (meaning smaller DIY type operations). Maybe nice solution for games as well, eg devolver, raw fury, etc as indy publishers/labels
@protopop Totally! I think it’s also helpful to think about it as a self-label, as in how you think about the game you’re making and people/team/collaborators you’re making it with.
@protopop Kinda comes back to a discussion that’s been going on for a while now: does Indy mean self published as it used to mean, or “independent” as in not tied to larger corporations or teams free-er for experimentation? So more related to budget or team size?
Despite the controversy, Horses is only shocking if you're unfamiliar with the history movies, theater, literature, or basically any art form that does not have stats. https://t.co/f3M1Pznt4L
Since yarn spinner viewer explodes on big scripts, I'm making my own terminal yarn parser with snapshotting (save/resume, jumping to specific nodes), live variable editing, being able to revert and jump back from dialogue choices, hot reloading and more

Having a lot of fun using and adapting the #yarnspinner visual code extension.
Gave the legacy graph view some love, code being maintained at https://t.co/SBbI9P4HjU
– auto layout options
– basic text formatting
– custom speaker colors

COP30 Isn't a Failure — It's a Farce.
Why these climate summits can’t solve the crisis—and why we should support Indigenous land struggles instead.
https://t.co/ZajqtnKrXP
The COP process has been utterly compromised by the fossil fuel lobby for years
The climate COPs have long been unfit for purpose, and - across 3 decades - have not stopped emissions climbing and have done next to nothing to demand fossil fuel use ends

@worldcreator3d now exports to @godotengine using Terrain3D.
WC is commercial software that makes realistic terrains. Currently you can import heightmaps and textures. We are starting to work with them to help them add foliage, refine their importing process, and hopefully improve Terrain3D.
The pictures are rendered in WC.
Here is their Godot Bridge doc showing the process.

Scientists, stop amplifying COP30 & the lies around it! Lula is expanding oil&gas in the Amazon, backing agribusiness & cattle growth, close to JBS’s Batista brothers, supporting mining like the giant Potássio do Brasil project in Autazes & pushing the destructive BR-319 highway.
