- the notion that juvenile PFPs are The Metaverse
- flashy, vapid fundraising announcements
- over-the-top conferences

Employer brands are built on PR. The lack of tranapsrency on quality forces you to rely on the WSJ/TC article you read, the billboard you saw on the highway or the TV show mention. These are almost always negativly correlated with quality.
@grappaxyz is working to solve this.

the general theme was lots of cheap money-seeking yields.
The rise of rates changes the dynamic. Projects that promised yield without creating real-world growth will keep blowing up. Makes me even more excited about @grappaxyz
