The edge of Grass Wood near Grassington. 5:38am today, 45 mins after sunrise, just before the light hits the hills.

Soundtrack is wood pigeon, chaffinch, blackbird, robin, jackdaw, willow warbler, pheasant, curlew and the ‘kick’ call of great spotted woodpecker

Which was lovely in itself. But on top of that, I saw my poetry chapbook out in the wild on an actual bookshop shelf for the first time - this is the very nice Tim @wearebuk holding it 👏👏👏

Today I visited @wearebuk , a fabulous mini cornucopia of books in Arnold where I met Tim the owner

I feel that transporting the queen's body from Edinburgh to London by plane is a missed step by the role family. She should have traveled by train then more people would have been able to show their respects. Not everyone can get to London. #TheQueen @BBCNews.
