For developers working on the full node client, please refer to the guidelines in the CONTRIBUTING doc on the "develop" branch and NOT the "master" branch. The "develop" version will always be the most up to date

With 5G bandwidth, every programmer, #datascientist and #quant in #nyc will soon be able to have a super accurate, real-time #digitaltwin of the behaviour and activities of every person, vehicle, piece of #realestate and tangible asset in the city https://t.co/JCpp8v7Czt
And it's balanced in such a way that in order to successfully attack the network, it'll always cost you several orders of magnitude more (in computation) than the value that the miners place on your assets.
For new users, remember nodes dont just recreate the physical world. They compete with each other to try to predict its future states. That includes people and as many tangible assets as possible. Real estate, cars, etc.
The default branch will be temporarily changed from "master" to one of the feature branches as we make improvements to our CI/CD workflow. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Any new pull requests or clones made w/r to the primary Grassland client's Github repo will be affected by some maintenance work being conducted over the next 24 hours.

But we've got several update announcements coming up. So people are going to have to be really careful with how they use it. Since we dont think anyone is prepared for an AI that can do this.
We've lost contact with the person who acts as the liaison between us and the @FBI so users don't accidently interfere with an investigation by digitizing their agents and getting their whereabouts and activities stored on our public blockchain.
We've been working on turning Grassland into a user-friendly desktop application. One that anyone can just download and double-click to run. It'll support all 3 major platforms (Windows, macOS, and Linux).
Happy Wednesday #DeSci!
We're looking forward to this week's episode of DeSci Rising featuring @grasslandnet-- a project centered on free, decentralized artificial intelligence.
Set your reminders for this Friday's chat in the tweet below ⬇️Looking forward to seeing you there!
"Complete awareness" in Grassland isn't a "value" but a limit you approach through successive approximations like in Calculus. Like pi, with enough computation you can approximate it to whatever accuracy the problem requires. You'll never quite get there but that's not the point.
By "self-aware", we're talking about an object that's aware of its place and function in Grassland and of its spatial relationship to the digital-twins of people and other objects in the world around it.
Does anyone want to make a self-aware autonomous Nerf gun? Code's on Github.
Grassland needs an autonomous weapons test of its API and this is the safest way to do it.

Using autonomous pseudo-weapons as part of our tests seems crazy but it "kills two birds with one stone". It lets us do QA with robots that require high precision and lets us wargame all the ways in which this type of AI could harm us. Also, playing with Nerf guns is fun.
We want thank everyone who donated to Grassland's @gitcoin grant. It was also great to see donations from some of our long time advocates in the military and intelligence industry. 🥳 🎊
