One of the big reasons for the current lack of patriotism and pride in our nation’s history is that about 40 years ago our most prominent storytellers in Hollywood just basically stopped telling stories about American history altogether, unless it has something to do with WW2, civil rights, or slavery. I mean they just released a movie about the meteorologist who did the weather report for D-Day. They’ll give WW2 weathermen their own movies before they tell a story from any other era of American history.

The Right has attempted to counteract this a little bit, but “conservative” attempts at American history films and TV shows are invariably hokey and kid friendly, the kind of thing you can watch with your grandmother and your 5 year old, and you’ll all be equally informed and bored by the experience.

We need R-rated adult-oriented American history stories. Daniel Boone should have his own series. It would be gritty and violent and not for children, but it would also be phenomenally entertaining and put an American legend back on the cultural map, so to speak. The fact that Daniel Boone hasn’t been depicted on screen at all since like the 60s is a travesty. Throw a dart at that guy’s Wikipedia page and you’ll land on something that could be its own feature length trilogy.

That’s just one example. How is there not a great R-rated movie or series about Antietam? Or Kit Carson? Or the Panama Canal? How does Theodore Roosevelt not have like 10 movies about different periods of his life?

You could go much farther back to pre-American history. A movie about Cortes’s conquest of Tenochtitlan would be tremendous and horrifying and fascinating, and it would introduce into the public consciousness one of the world’s most incredible stories that most Americans know next to nothing about. And on and on.

The possibilities are literally endless. All of these movies, if they’re executed to even a B+ level, could make hundreds of millions of dollars and transform the culture in a way that a million podcast monologues never could. If the Right actually wants to reclaim the culture, this is the place to start.

CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR PRIMARY! - Tomorrow June 2 is the statewide top-two primary where the two highest vote-getters advance to November regardless of party.

If Bianco remains in and splits the GOP vote giving Democrats the top 2 spots I'm gonna be PISSED. Bianco has NO SHOT.

Democrat Xavier Becerra leads most polls around twenty five percent while the two top Republicans Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco are splitting conservative votes allowing Democrats like Tom Steyer to battle for the second spot.

Hilton has surged with Trump endorsement but Bianco refuses to drop out and consolidate the GOP behind him. This vote split could hand both runoff spots to Democrats in deep blue California!

Republicans must unite now or risk watching two liberals face off in November with no conservative on the ballot.

Sadly true. So what now?
1) Stick with the Great American State Fair concept. Make it a sprawling display of the local economies and cultures of each of the 50 states.
2) De-celebritize the events. Don't try to book stars. Republicans have always lost at that game, and doubly so with Trump. At the moment, show business appears to be largely made up of a) entertainers and businessmen who hate Trump, and b) entertainers and businessmen who are scared of being accused of not hating Trump. Why waste time with them?
3) Make music a big part of the events by showcasing U.S. military bands. There are a lot of military bands and orchestras, and they are very, very good.
4) Make the 4th of July a traditional 4th of July, with the exception of a turbocharged America 250 fireworks show.
5) No starring role for Trump. He'll be the President of the United States watching over the events with pride.
6) If anyone calls it hokey, fine. Old-fashioned hokey patriotism is good.

🚨 California Passed "The Stop Nick Shirley Act":
This week the California Assembly passed AB 2624. This bill will criminalize investigative journalism involving the immigrant population. It would have made it illegal to expose the Somali "Learing" center if it were in California or the Armenian hospice fraud in LA if they claimed "reasonable fear."

The bill protects "immigration support services providers," which means services provided to immigrants, including health care. It has been proven that millions, potentially billions, of dollars in fraud has taken place in "immigrant support services” which includes nonprofits and NGOs the state funds.

California is trying to make it harder to expose fraud and scare individuals from investigating it as they could be forced and sued to remove the video, forced to pay attorney fees, and ordered to pay a minimum of $4,000 in damages.

This bill was created by Mia Bonta (the attorney general's wife). She has made 4 separate versions of this bill because each version violates the 1st Amendment and is extremely unconstitutional.

Plain and simple, California politicians need the fraud to continue because they depend on the fraud to push their agendas. END ALL THE FRAUD.
