@BrendanEich@robertgraham The primary cargo was 1/3 of a one-time pad plus certificant passengers vouching for its authenticity. The other two parts travel by different routes and are XOR'd for the result. There's also a line about faith in public key crypto being giggle-inducing.
Stoked to announce what I've been working on during my first 2 months @wasmerio ! 😃🎉
Wasmer-JS, a set of open-source, installable packages for running WASI modules in Node and the browser! 📦
Built with node-wasi, Comlink, wasm-pack, and xterm.js! 💪🏾

The only abstractions that really matter are those that give exponential benefits by changing the game. The danger of small-ball abstractions is they obscure the big picture of what your program is doing and prevent the big wins.
WebRender’s origin story in a tweet:
Glenn Watson joins Mozilla and says he doesn’t understand why browser painting works like it does, but assumes there must be a good reason for it.
One year later or so, he decides there isn’t a good reason.
@tolmasky It works better for getting people to look at cute animal pictures and river-of-news style viewing. Probably works better for their metrics. I tend towards text/discussion subreddits and visit them individually like forums so I find it worse.
OMG! @FirefoxNightly just got time travel debugging. Best birthday present ever! 🎂 🦊
Here are all the deets. Can't wait to hear what you think!

@RyanCGee When flying west I find it easier to push through and go to bed somewhere close to normal hours local. When flying east I try for a 2 hr nap when I'm tired and then try to align sleep schedule.

Cake is a new discussion forum/platform I'm trying to help get off the ground. I've had a number of people tell me I should start blogging and this launch is what kicked me into motion. I do have invites.
@pcwalton Mapping caps to ctrl and re-training myself to use c-[ for normal has been one of my better vim-related decisions. Most emulated Vim overloads Esc so it's unreliable but c-[ has worked for me in pretty much everything.
@TaciturnTom The best presentation I've seen from SpaceX is about the fluid/combustion dynamics simulations they used to design their engines.

@Tremelune I spent like 3 hours rebinding all the IntelliJ keybindings to Sublime equivalents when I started using it and don't use F-keys at all. I also use ctrl-[ instead of Esc for Vim w/caps->ctrl. Touchbar makes me sad.
