Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, recalls the monotheistic ethos at the heart of the Abrahamic traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

In a story shared between the three religious traditions, Prophet Ibrahim or Abraham (peace be upon him) and his son were subjected to a test of faith by God. In a recurring dream, Hazrat Ibrahim was commanded by God to sacrifice his beloved son. However, at the ultimate moment of the sacrificial act, God spared the life of his son, who is believed by most Muslims to be Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him).

@Wealthsimple I understand that. But at some locations my other Mastercard debit works but the @Wealthsimple cash card doesn't. And I've tried it multiple times at these locations. Is there something that I need to tell the cashier before they ask me to tap?

At a couple of merchants that only accept debit, the @Wealthsimple cash card doesn't work. Not sure why? It appears to the merchants as if I'm using a credit card.
Is it just me or anyone else has experienced the same?
