@RealRangoStarr I don’t like to call people I don’t personally know liars. But it would be strange if Joseph Smith only taught that to Brigham Young and not the other apostles when there wasn’t any clear succession strategy for Brigham to become the next prophet.

@Ducdenghien @JasontheLayman That’s a dumb thing to say. Being wrong about a couple things and lying are completely different. We don’t believe in infallibility. But the keys to the kingdom are held in this church. The prophets and apostles are called of God.

@Ducdenghien @JasontheLayman No. It sounds like he did, but there’s some confusion on what he actually meant. But whatever it was, we’ve had clearer instruction since then from multiple prophets and apostles that Adam was a man and not God the Father. So either he was misunderstood, or he was wrong.
