The legality of our organization. One way or another I am determined to do as much as I can to bring sustainability to Cameroon and anywhere else that needs it. #PleaseHelp and #share@green_cameroon
So far we have on our team a lawyer based in Cameroon, an architect from the University of Maryland, a pubic relations graduate from #umd and a small group of environmentalists and myself . And we have a plan but right now what we need most is funding to set up
Since I run a company that builds apps I’m going to build an interactive app that will not just work for Cameroon but anywhere that needs sustainable development. Because transparency is important.
And so I’ve come up with a plan . It’s going to take more than picking up the trash. But we can take the plastic and build roads . And I’ve started an organization @green_cameroon to help achieve the goal. But we need help because I cannot do it alone.
And the another thing I noticed is there is a civil war going on. Now as an American I can’t begin to understand what the politics are or what the local people are going through. But I can try to bring hope through my recycling efforts.
Another thing I noticed is that one of the biggest industrial companies in Douala is a bottling plant operated by @CocaColaCo and that Coca-Cola has an initiative to recycle as many plastic bottles as they manufacture by 2030. 😀 https://t.co/aCBKdxPKjV
So as I started doing my research on how I could help with the problem, I learned a lot . One of the things I discovered is that Cameroon is one of the countries apart of the @UN#sustainabledevelopmentgoals or #SDGs. And gues what the main part of their goal is??????
