.@Shopify@ShopifySupport 5 stores hosted on your platform has cloned my brand, and for one month now, nothing has been done to stop it.
They stole everything : photos, copy, product pages, FAQ, even our legal notice and our registered company address. Then they take orders they never ship, and their victims come leave 1-star reviews on OUR Trustpilot.
We've filed 10 DMCA notices through your official form, with all possible proof:
- Original product photography
- Original copy and product pages
- Our own legal documents, copied word for word
…zero action. Zero reply.
Meanwhile, my brand generates $600K+/month on Shopify, I pay over $300/month in subscription, and I run a clean business with a chargeback rate under 0.1%.
@harleyf the real question is: why is a scam store protected better than a paying merchant with a clean record?
This isn't just negligence, it's enabling fraud, and it's hurting both merchants and end customers. If a brand doing $600K/month with 10 notices filed endless claims to your support can't get a single reply, what message does that send to every smaller brand building on your platform?
It's time for a real process to take down fraudulent copies, or accept that scammers are safer on Shopify than the merchants who pay for it.
All RT helps. It could be your brand next.
@kdseifu Yes I know but once you get a chargeback do they do all of the work with getting all of the information? Chargeflow doesn’t do this for example
