@WehriBradon@BleacherReport Personal opinion here, I doubt he has many carbs on match day. Probably heavier protein intake bc the effect on blood sugars are more predictable. Carbs, especially starchy carbs, can lead to stubborn highs that are a challenge to bring down into normal levels.
@WehriBradon@BleacherReport Or could have been nerves, adrenaline and cortisol being released during stressful periods of the match. If I had to guess he wasn’t super high, but high enough where a bit of insulin brought him back to a range where he is comfortable.
