An inspiration for all generations, we think! 🙌

[The New Yorker @NewYorker]

Sixteen-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg says that all she wants is for adults to act on the terrifying information all around them. But the impact of her message does not come only from her regard for the facts—she is an uncanny, gifted orator. https://t.co/eUqSVGCEaj

Or that younger generations don't think the opposite, either.

To convince the world that change needs to be made, there needs to be a happy medium that doesn't end with our extinction.

[The Greener Collective @greenerco_]

It's unfortunate that we're on the cusp of making a great change in our leaders, with the older generation retiring out and this generation coming in, but are still struggling to make a big change in the world 🌳

‘We may not have caused the problem, but we are the last generation with the possibility of stopping the runaway train.’ — @MayorParadis is ready to take on bold solutions to climate change

[The Greener Collective @greenerco_]

One must question how much easier it is to continue to deny problems (*cough*climate change*cough*) if you're used to living your privileged dreams of a golden age. Though it's not to say all older generations think this way in the first place.

@CropLifeIntl sum up the importance of farmland and biodiversity, and aptly highlight that the world's ecosystem is one large cycle.

#ClimateChange and #GlobalWarming are threatening to break that cycle.

We don't need to be doing everything. We can't change the world in one day. But we can become more #sustainable with our choices, we can choose to buy #ethical and to remove our #support for corporate giants who would do our planet more harm than good.

[The Greener Collective @greenerco_]

If we don't start changing our ways now, as best as we possibly can, we contribute to ending the lives of the masses on island nations, extinction of our native wildlife and the complete and utter eradication of our very own species.

"The UN calls it the threshold of catastrophe. Many island nations of the world call it genocide." - @dwallacewells #ClimateChange #DavidWallaceWells

Together, we stand a chance against the errors we have made for our planet. Together we can right our own wrongs and live to see a future our children, and their children, will be proud of 💚

[ipbes @IPBES]

On #BiodiversityDay it's important to remember that #biodiversity loss and #ClimateChange are environmental, development, economic, security, social and equity issues that must be addressed together to achieve a sustainable future, for people and for nature.
