A good primer on Michael Shellenberger - the worst kind of ecological modernist.

@ChrisMasterjohn wondering if u have any thoughts on 7wk study where feeding SFA leads to worse outcomes than PUFA ? https://t.co/5rPG8KyuD0

[green mars @greenmars_]

@TheGutGeek you are yet to provide any studies about sucrose's effect on gut flora mate. Not particularly "geeky"

[green mars @greenmars_]

@emmanceb huge irony.

[green mars @greenmars_]

@foundmyfitness Thank you for your incredible sauna vids. Were there any stats on fatal CVD or ACM between sauna users and NON-sauna users?

Sugar swings. Serve some.

[green mars @greenmars_]

@TheGutGeek I used white rice fruit and 70% chocolate. I think it's wise to treat carbs on a person by person basis but I rspct ur approach

[green mars @greenmars_]

@tferriss latest podcast was 50% explicit advertising and 50% opaque plug for book club. Love the short episodes but that was boring

[green mars @greenmars_]

@TheGutGeek that was my experience anyway. I stalled because of too few calories/carbs.

[green mars @greenmars_]

@TheGutGeek 2/2 and slow metabolism can slow transit time and lead to SIBO in people with moderate issues - maybe they should keep potatoes

[green mars @greenmars_]

@TheGutGeek 1/2 I understand that GAPS and SCD etc are really effective for people with mega screwy guts but I worry that calorie reduction

[green mars @greenmars_]

@e_tberry yeah it's a very nuanced issue and so polarizing. It's very hard to talk about without sounding like "DONT VACCINATE YOUR KIDS"

[green mars @greenmars_]

@e_tberry always appreciated regardless of whether I agree*

[green mars @greenmars_]

@e_tberry Lol thank you your input is always appreciated mate. I believe the only difference between us is how livid big pharma makes me.

[green mars @greenmars_]

@e_tberry I suspect so is gardasil seeing as it doesn't lower cervical cancer rates. But I'm not that knowledgable on that drug.

[green mars @greenmars_]

@e_tberry and a cholesterol vaccine is a shining example of that sort of BS. So is the flu shot.

[green mars @greenmars_]

@e_tberry but it is equally vital to aggressively interrogate anything a billion dollar industry wants to stick in your arm.

[green mars @greenmars_]

@e_tberry I understand that vaccines are important and antivaxxers got it very wrong.
