Afternoon: Axios announces “deal reached.” Everyone amplifies. Markets surge. Evening: Iran’s Tasnim denies it, says the draft is neither completed nor confirmed. Iran calls Axios “fake news.” Khamenei has not approved anything.

Saturday: “largely negotiated, announced shortly.” Hours later: Fars denies.
Wednesday: “deal reached pending approval.” Hours later: Tasnim denies.

Same script. Same sequence. Since April.

For those who still have not figured it out: these announcements are not diplomacy. They are designed to move macro, not stocks. Oil down, yields down, inflation expectations down. Because the real problem is not Iran. It is American debt at historic levels, bonds at dangerous thresholds, and inflation climbing back up with no end in sight.

The U.S. got stuck in a war it cannot win. And it is losing, for now, at the worst possible fiscal moment. And for the first time in modern history, it lost control of the seas. The Navy that guarantees global trade, that underpins the dollar, that IS American hegemony, could not keep open a 33 kilometer strait which it was open before 28 February...

That is what every fake “deal reached” headline is trying to cover.
