I was at an anti racism hui yesterday and Sir Matiu Rei, unprompted, promoted the Green Party guaranteed income policy (saying he’s not a Green) as a counter to racism as racism is fed by people’s trouble sharing resources.

My take is that the protesters show:
1) the failure of our school system to teach statistics, scientific theory and critical thinking
2) failure of our health system to ensure it is trusted by some of the most vulnerable
3) politicians and rebels alike have poor taste in music
