The single most overlooked growth channel for DTC brands is TV.
I've helped a number of 8-figure brands profitably scale using TV as the main growth engine.
Here is why TV is so powerful.๐
What a journey itโs been ๐๐จ @turo has acquired select Kyte assets. From day one, we aimed to create a better car rental experience: delivered to your door, flexible, and built around you ๐ Thank you to everyone whoโs been part of the Kyte community. See you on the other side!
@codyplof had terrible wifi and was touching grass when this tweet happened!! back in the saddle now, and grateful for you + the JRB team as partners, and also to be on this tiny list!
@Tshea0314@seanfrank Not a doctor, but I did stayโฆ
Fwiw, this is a common ask, and a point of frustration for me on behalf of brands I work with.
Network credit is the best solution for now. The apps are a pain, but worth it for the terms.
@RosenZone@seanfrank Iโm sure youโve heard about the network credit route โ itโs messy but can help. No additional tricks up my sleeve at the moment.
I'm feeling the holiday spirit, and there's too much negativity on here.
I want to shout out some partners that I can vouch for. We expect a lot from our partners and these always deliver:
1. Odyssey Ad Creative - We've had terrible experiences with most ad creative agencies. Odyssey is the only one we've scaled hard with. Small team so you can get great attention. @akejabrams
2. Household/ @gregMschwartz Weve gone from $0 to close to 20% of our spend on TV. Greg has managed it the whole way. We talked a year and a half ago, set a plan and did our first shoot and then launched in Dec. It's been huge for our growth. Another very small agency, so we get Greg on calls every week.
3. KNO / @JeremiahPrummer. Jeremiah is one of the best dudes in DTC and he's always willing to help with some analysis.
4. Ecom Experts / @AndrewDurot . I tweeted about them a few weeks ago. They saved our ass for free before BFCM. Their level of support is next level. Pretty sure Andrew was fixing a bug for us while his wife was in labor. Does your agency do that?
5. @oliviaakory / Haus. Olivia is one of the smartest and bets people in our space. Haus has been a godsend for us. I am an advisor to them, but I recommend Haus for one reason. We spend many millions on ads and I need to know what's working and what's not. Haus is the only causal method.
6. @Agentiohq. Been talking a lot about them because I'm so excited to launch. Their team is also great, they will hop on calls at any time to troubleshoot or give advice. They even drove a few hours out to our office to brainstorm.
7. Gatemaker / @AshtonWall is the best influencer mind out there. We have learned a ton from her and her agency.
@zachmstuck Would've loved to try, but networks need to see creatives for S&P, wires need to be sent, orders need to be sent typically the week prior -- a lot of barriers. If you want to get them up week of 12/2 or MAYBE next week lmk.
I was wrong about TV ads.
I thought they were just for big brands with big budgets.
But here's what I learned from an expert:
DTC brands are already making millions (using TV ads in ways I never expected!)
Let me show you how ๐
