An unexpected encounter—but it happened.

In 1990, some of the biggest stars of film and music came together to perform "What a Wonderful World" at a charity event called "Mothers & Others for a Livable Planet," held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

On stage were none other than Bette Midler, Cher, Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, Olivia Newton-John, and Lily Tomlin—each with a remarkable career in film, music, and comedy, all sharing a common purpose: raising environmental awareness.🫶💫🌟

37 years ago we lost the great Gilda Radner.

On that day, Steve Martin was hosting the #SNL S14 finale. In his monologue, he & the show pay tribute to Gilda's passing with one of her classic sketches.

G.E. Smith (her 1st husband) leads the band out to commercial.
