@sstrudeau@DE_Gifford Austin has a bunch of these in-fills, which are great! Unfortunately most of them exist as islands that you cannot safely get to except by vehicle. But they are definitely working to address at least.
@lukeranker Maddening, but these aren’t serious people. Fortunately on their way out. Here’s an actual equity issue they don’t seem to care about: https://t.co/5jxU1PIKpl
@ajjaskie@Kirk_Westphal@xMegaMichellex Ah yeah! And Fox is another perfect example. I recall my folks being sad about them moving until I asked them how often they rented humongous party tents.
@AstroKatie@EAA@FlightChops Enjoy!! I was lucky enough to be there for a Concorde landing / takeoff (so loud!) and the 25th anniversary of the moon landing. 1994? Every astronaut is an experimental aircraft geek as far as I can tell. :)
@sstrudeau On the other hand, I don't know how much enforcement has been done. Are all the game day properties complying? A quick troll through your handy link I see just a single license on S. Main St. Most of the "denied" entries I spot checked are clearly still operating.
@sstrudeau A chunk of these are owner-occupied too, like ours. Not legal as a rental (our unit is in R4C and wasn't allowed a kitchen when we converted it.) It also feels punitive that the license costs $500
@kathrynsiu Ugh I'm sorry. That's my most frequent issue with inattentive / aggressive people driving. This is definitely a bad section of bike infrastructure. I assume the bridge width prevents a decent solution here? And I don't see any current plans to improve the bridge in SEMCOG's data
Want to express my thanks to @bdimcheff and fellow #a2council residents for spending their free time bringing transparency to our local elections. It really matters.
@EricPaulDennis @aniccia Maybe @austintexasgov? As I recall they had some programs around trees to reduce hvac loads / heat island effects in the city. Quick googling: https://t.co/xR6QVKCdjx
