This. Stearns has done great things in the org in terms of revamping a bottom-tier farm system in a matter of years.

That said, his MLB moves have been highly questionable. Get someone in the door who can push the MLB team, while Stearns oversees the whole system. #Mets #LGM

I am not defending David Stearns. His MLB moves the past three years have a 25-75 hit rate at this point.

Best practice is probably keeping him as PoBO, and getting someone to serve as a GM under him that can make roster construction decisions.

I dont think this happens either
