Spectrum of ultrasound findings:
•Loss of real-time movement of the tendon.
•Complete or partial extensor tendon tears.
•Fluid in the region of the extensor tendon insertion.
•Avulsion fracture.

Meralgia paresthetica. The LFCN can run above, below or through the inguinal ligament as it enters the thigh from the abdominal wall. In this case- it’s not having a good time doing so!
Runs within the ligament, with gross fascicular oedema proximal to the point of compression
