@function2fitnes Proximal ITB syndrome most likely. Region is out of image field on hip MRI so often missed.
Typically present with pain superior to GT and will be tender higher on lateral iliac crest/ITB origin. We see a lot of female runners with this presentation.

Numerous ossicles in the ankle or foot can be mistaken for fractures. When in doubt, ask yourself, "Is this a common ossicle versus a rare fracture, or a common fracture versus a rare ossicle?" This approach usually works.
