Merck pulled the separate shots off the market?

In other words: as more parents got educated about vaccine safety, Merck removed their ability to make this choice.

After about 40 years of the shots being available individually, just as vaccines became officially linked to brain damage (including autism) and to many other disorders via court cases, studies, and through whistleblowers... Merck removed the ability of parents to do the very thing that many experts said was safer.

The single shots are called “monovalent” as in measles-only, mumps-only, rubella-only.

Merck’s monovalent products were Attenuvax (measles), Mumpsvax (mumps), and Meruvax II (rubella).

Merck stopped making all three, citing manufacturing constraints and saying it would resume only if it wouldn't squeeze supply of the company's combo MMR shot.

Then, in October 2009, Merck announced it would not resume production of the monovalent shots, and formally discontinued them.

Merck claimed its decision was based on input from professionals, advisers, and customers. Merck said all of those people preferred the combo vax because it is one injection instead of three.

Merck maintained that, contrary to some experts, there is no medical reasons to give the shots separately.

A 3-year-old child and a 5-month-old BABY are dead.

Their 1-year-old brother survived.

Police say their own mother, 22-year-old Kailey Erhart, is accused of attacking all three children inside their Mandan, North Dakota, home on August 6.

Just typing those ages makes me sick.

THREE YEARS OLD.
FIVE MONTHS OLD.
ONE YEAR OLD.

These were babies.

And somehow little Colton survived. ❤️

He underwent surgery, and his family later shared the news everyone desperately needed to hear: it went well, and they said doctors expected him to make a full physical recovery.

But here's the part I can't get past...

According to the probable-cause affidavit, the children's father had previously reported concerns that Erhart had threatened to harm herself AND the children.

Now two children are dead.

Erhart has been charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder and other offenses. She is accused and has not been convicted.

I don't even know what to say anymore. Two precious little lives that had barely begun are gone, and their family will carry this nightmare forever.

Please pray for Colton. 🙏

Pray that this sweet little boy continues to heal physically. Pray for his father and family as they grieve two children while trying to surround the one who survived with all the love he needs.

And tonight, hug your babies a little tighter. ❤️
