@CarlSparre@TeslaBoomerMama When did they ‘promise’ charging wouldn’t be a ‘profit center???’
Tesla does everything at a profit. It’s how they pay for expansion and accelerates the transition to sustainable transport and sustainable energy.
@ArtBellTheThird @TeslaBoomerMama Do you only denigrate women? Or do you treat other men just as disrespectfully?
I notice you called her lazy yet you gave a response with no answer to the question. Do you have one?
In China, @Tesla delivered 39,956 vehicles in April. This is the best first month of a quarter ever. Up 48% from second best (January 23). 🇨🇳
This number results from the CPCA reported wholesale 75,842 from last week and 35,886 exports from today.
When is Tesla going to value FSD on trade-ins @elonmusk, especially now that it costs $19.5K in Canada and $15K in the US?
Here's an email from a Used Tesla Advisor two weeks ago saying FSD adds zero value.
If FSD is not going to be valued on trade-ins, then a transfer should be allowed.
Tesla is improving its FSD, which will make cars autonomous. Once it becomes “super smooth” and not just safe, the company will roll out a free month trial for all cars in North America, Elon Musk said

@the_antrik@01rasto@ElectrekCo@fredlambert Sodium ion is basically in gen 1. LFP was lacking when first used. I expect someone will figure out a way to make it work. Need it by end of the decade!
@the_antrik@01rasto@ElectrekCo@fredlambert LFP have less power density so a 50 kwh pack w/LFP won’t have the performance of Tesla’s nickel based chemistries.
They need a cheap battery with a high enough density (and preferably less or no lithium).
Let's recap:
• Chevy Bolt ending production this year
• Cadillac Lyriq: 122 sales in Q4 (software issues)
• Ford F150 ⚡️: defective battery cells -> 🔥 and production stopped
• Toyota bZ4X: wheels falling off, 1,600 Q1 🇺🇸 sales
• GM sells 2 Hummer EV's in Q1 (water damage to battery packs)
• VW: well known software issues (Cariad)
I see so many "analysts" continually talking about the competition being here. I'd like to remind them - a car being announced is NOT equivalent to a car being produced and working properly
At this point, until an EV is being produced and sold to the tune of at least a few thousand per month, I don't want to hear about it being "competition" $TSLA
@drewhunna @GuyDealership@wholemars@CDG_Podcast I’m not a lawyer so no. Unbreakable? I guess we’ll see. But fights between Ford and dealerships will only hurt both businesses and decrease both chances versus companies like Tesla.
Why would a free market Gov not want free market competition with direct to consumers sales?
@EV_Trapper@ICannot_Enough@jimfarley98@elonmusk Ford hasn’t sold many evs, Tesla has. Tesla’s are far better in performance, technology, and efficiency. Farley admitted Ford had some big missteps and they just realized how important aerodynamics is for ev’s (years too late). Meanwhile,Tesla is working on NextGen!
@ward069@ICannot_Enough@Ford They have a net loss per EV. If gross margins become positive, then you can build to a net profit with higher volume.
Note Lucid&Rivian both have gross losses > $100k per vehicle, so scale does not help.
@Tillsbury1 @fallacyalarm I imagine many people find it more frustrating when you see Ford advertise a Lightning for $60k, you go to the dealership and the dealership is selling it for $120k from a $60k markup!
@Tillsbury1 @fallacyalarm When lease was up, I went to renew my lease on a newer vehicle for the same price (as their flyer said). He asked what my payments were, I told him and he said that’s impossible. He looked it up and went to talk to his boss. Best offer was ⬆️70%/month with ⬆️$ down. No thank you.
